Modular Review #2

Lego Creator 10243 Parisian Restaurant

This is one of my favorite sets when standing alone. It is eloquently detailed and is chock full of features. But then it kind of falls flat. The building is skinny; only 11 studs deep. The seating deck looks terrible when next to any building close to it and the very correct Parisian styling of the set looks highly out of place next to mostly American style structures.

The large kitchen.

Man proposing to his girlfriend.

I do like the curtains.

The wine cabinet full of French wine.

The kitchen is very nicely detailed.

The troublesome seating deck.

Armchair next to fireplace.

The kitchenette and table.

Front balcony.

Are two balconies really necessary?

Murphy bed for sleeping (duh).

The French artist's studio is located on the third floor.

The stove on the third floor.

The intricately detailed third floor looks very French.

The seating deck makes the open-air seating seem cramped,
the opposite of its intended purpose.

The out of place Parisian Restaurant in downtown Lego City.
